Education with the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust

The Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust has a strong commitment to education and field studies. Every year, thousands of children visit a Trust nature reserve and through this first-hand experience gain a greater understanding of the natural world and our place within it. Our four education centres are situated within outstanding nature reserves, each with its own landscape, habitats and wildlife. Under the guidance of enthusiastic and experienced Education Officers there is a wealth of opportunities for the study of a range of subjects including science, geography, heritage, art and citizenship. All of our education programmes have links to the National Curriculum and have been evaluated for safety. We also offer an outreach service for the study of environmental issues and citizenship, and the use of school grounds.
