   Species for which we have no photograph :–

Black Hairstreak (Strymonidia pruni)– unconfirmed record from 1885
Large Blue (Maculinea arion)– unconfirmed record from 10th March 1885
Large Copper (Lycaena dispar)– extinct since the early 1800's
Mazarine Blue (Cyaniris semiargus)– extinct from about 1900
Pale Clouded Yellow (Colias hyale)– rare migrant
Scotch Argus (Erebia aethiops)– extinct since 1860
